About our name 

Gaia comes from Greek mythology and refers to Earth as home of the sacred and our sacred home. Today we have words like geology and geography based on the common prefix that once referred to the spirituality of the Earth.

Gaia Centre emphasizes that what's needed at this time to aid the shift to a more resilient future is to make the health and welfare of Earth central to our society, economy, and spirituality.
